Educational and counseling center Open garden NGOs in Brno - construction technology project
Marková, Veronika ; Nečasová, Barbora (referee) ; Venkrbec, Václav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is solving of the construction project of the administrative building "Educational and consulting center Open Garden of NGO in Brno" The building is designed as three-storey reinforced concrete skeleton with a flat vegetation roof and a light cladding. The diploma thesis includes technological prescriptions for the assembly of the light cladding and for window installation, inspection and quality plans, design of machine assembly, site equipment project, item budget, etc.
Multi-purpose building
Kopr, Radim ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional house on the street Křídlovická in the city of Brno. The new building is five-storey with four above-ground and one underground floors. The main entrance is oriented to the southeastern side and adjacent to the northwest side, and a separate entrance to the underground garage in the southwest corner of the designed object. Behind the main entrance is a staircase connecting all floors, after a special entrance for the underground garage is the staircase down into the garage. From the southwest side there are entrances to restaurants and shops, these have staffing and supply entrances and social facilities from the north-east side of the building. A downhill ramp is also located behind the northeast side of the building, from the southwest side are solved areas - restaurant garden, sidewalks and parking areas. In other above-ground floors, open space office spaces with separate meeting rooms, office director, secretary offices, and social facilities on the northeastern side of the floor are designed. Within these floors is proposed continuous greening of the atrium. The supporting system is a monolithic reinforced concrete combined with masonry staircases and a northeast wall. In the basement, the support system is a skeleton in combination with the walls of a lost formwork. Roof flat single-skinned with various inclinations 1-5°
Engineering Hall
Olejníček, Pavel ; Párová,, Jitka (referee) ; Rusinová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with a new building of a single-storey production object, which is made as a precast concrete frame with a lightweight cladding. Part of the new building is also facilities for employees and its administrative staff, which is also based on precast concrete frame divided into two floors. Cladding is made as masonry with ventilated facade. The internal division of buildings is made by plasterboard partitions. The project is located in the industrial zone Košíkov near Velká Bíteš.
Revitalization of Selected Lightweight Cladding of Buildings, Implemented in the Czech Republic before 1990
Liška, Pavel ; Gašparík,, Jozef (referee) ; Sedlák,, Petr (referee) ; Kovářová, Barbora (advisor)
The dissertation thesis is focused on a design of new methodology that can be used for selection of optimal variant for the revitalization of light building facade system known as OD-001 “Boletice panel” when current construction solutions and materials are implemented. Thermographic measurement and engineering survey of selected buildings was carried out to determine the defects and insufficiencies that might accompanied these structures and their revitalization. Another point of my thesis was a possibility of revitalization by bonded facade. Mechanical resistance of bonded facade was verified throughout experimental testing and by mathematical calculation. The usability was confirmed on the basis of specific criteria that were stipulated in advance. The selected criteria are focused on areas which are important for investors. These are mainly financial cost, payback period but also the impact on the environment. Simulations and advanced methods of decision making were used.
BUT Technology Transfer Center
Muroň, Jakub ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Skála, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s Thesis is based on the architectural study done in the summer semester of the third year of bachelor’s studies of the topic Technology tranfer cetre BUT in Brno. Area of Technology transfer centre of BUT (Brno university of technology) is composed of three separated units - two production complexes and main buidling, which is used for administration in first floor and laboratories in second floor. Design is conditioned by two criteria - an adaptation of objects structure to configuration of terrain and a flexibility of function and logistic. Solution to these issues was to create main communication connected with existing communication. It provides easy and fast logistic service for the production complexes. Shape of the buildings follows contour lines. Due to dynamic shapes I designed simple industrial monochromatic facade, which allows an experimentation with the mass of the building. Line of the flat roof was broken by simple skylights. Strip windows potentiate horizontality in contrast with the main building, which has vertically based character. Industrial character of the complex was accentuated by using metallic facade and prefabricated concrete construction.
